Along the Little Nestucca River

A tale of spring runoff

The Little Nestucca River harvests rain from Oregon’s Coast Range and directs the gathered water west toward the sea. In late spring, as the accumulated weight of a season’s worth of precipitation swells the river, the channeled flow grows perilous.
